Question: I have hypertension. I was taking Valsartan 160mg + Amlodopine 10mg. My new Doctor changed the medicine and prescribed me Tazloc H80 1 TAB in the morning and Prozopres Xl 5 1 tablet in the evening.. Even since my blood pressure is shooting high 170/90 or thereabouts. Please advise what is the best course of action. Thank you

Brief Answer:
There is a need to revise the treatment

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

If your blood pressure was better controlled on previews medication, I would advise you to switch to Valsartan + Amlodipin, unless you had side effects from these medications.
I think besides changing medication, another option is to add some diuretic, if there is no contraindication.

Wishing you good health

Dear Doctor,

I need your medical advise, please.

I have "tingling" feeling on my left arm and severe pain from shoulder to the wrist. The pain is continuous.

I have consulted Cardiologist and found nothing wrong with my heart. I would what is the condition and what would be the best medicine.

Grateful for your guidance.

Thank you and regards

Welcome back

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

The pain can be a simple muscle pain, or it can be related to spine problems.
You can take Ibuprofen 400 mg twice daily, if it doesn't disappear in 3-4 days, have your vertebra checked.

Take care

Welcome back

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

There is no need to add a diuretic to your current treatment.
I mentioned a diuretic for your previews treatment. In case your blood pressure was better controlled with your previews treatment, another option was to add a diuretic to your previews treatment.

About your shoulder, if there is no relief, I would advise you to see your doctor.

Take care
