Question: is there any connection between FEBUGET TAblet used for uric acid prob) sgpt and sgot as these level shows 122 u/l and 105 u/l respectively?

Hi,

Yes, there is a link between them.

Febuget (Febuxostat) which is xanthine oxidase inhibitor metabolises initially in the liver and later excretes metabolites in urine and feces.

So the liver tends to function more leading to a rise in SGPT and SGOT enzyme level more than normal.

Once the tablet is stopped the liver enzymes should return to normal. However, it is always to repeat the LFT done as advised by your doctor.
