Question: I am using lamivudine, raltegravir, and etravirine for the past 8 years and now am having elevated kidney problems. last labs showed 1.23 mg/dl creatinine and 58 for eGFR. Is it time to change meds and do you have any suggestions? THANK YOU

Brief Answer:
Depends upon the response to drugs, dose adjustment necessary

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.

Your creatinine elevation is just around borderline only. You haven't mentioned anything about your recent viral load estimation and latest CD4 counts. If they are alright, you may need a dose adjustment rather than a switch over. Please consult your HIV physician regarding this.
