Question: What does a mild elevation of the left hemidiaphragm on a cat scan mean? I am severely obese, 74 year old female. I had the cat scan in the emergency room for pain in my lower left side. I have diverticulosis they found and put me on antibiotics. They reported the above question incidentally.
