What Causes Empty Gestational Sac And Bleeding At 4.4 Weeks Pregnancy?

Scan does not show a fetal node.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Avoiding the scan will not change the reality. If the gestational sac is empty then a repeat scan is advised to see if at all there is any growth of fetal node or the sac is detaching or not. Even if you do not go for a scan the bleeding will continue and eventually the sac will be expelled on its own. Please do not worry. It will not do any harm to you. The loss of pregnancy at such an early stage is usually due to chromosomal defect that is incompatible with life.
Do not lose heart. You will have a successful conception next time.

D&C is not usually needed.
Detailed Answer:
Usually at 4.4 weeks, D&C is not required. The products of conception can be expelled with the help of medicines. Also, in case of a missed abortion, a spontaneous expulsion also happens in 50% cases.
Regards.

Do not self medicate yourself.
Detailed Answer:
The abortion pills are given to expel the products but these need to be taken under the guidance of your gynecologist as it can be associated with serious side effects.
It is best to avoid having sex for 6 weeks so that your body can regain the strength to conceive again.
You can consult your gynecologist for the pills.
Regards.

No such serious complications.
Detailed Answer:
No. It cannot cause any such serious complication. There cannot be a tube blockage or difficulty in conceiving again. It can cause excessive bleeding some times or a persistent lower abdominal pain till the products are expelled.
Regards.
