Brief Answer: normal/congenital hernia Detailed Answer: Hi Dear Welcome to the HCM. Please upload the photograph of the local area in the follow up query so that I can get the exact idea of the problem. Many times it is quite normal to have some laxed / enlarged scrotum and testicles in a full term baby. Occasionally in male babies a condition develops called as congenital hernia (means a persistance of a continuiety from abdomnal cavity to the scrotal cavity). This can only be confirmed/ ruled out by local examination / photograph of the sight. Hope the query is answered. thanks Please feel free for the further explanation

Brief Answer: Yes, enlarged but could be normal Detailed Answer: Hi, It is enlarged scrotum. Appears to be normal. Congential hernia is less likely. Ultra sound of the scrotum will reveal every possibility. Still I feel that every thing is ok. Nothing appears to be abnormal. Have a consultation with your paediatrician for the spot diagnosis. Hope the query is answered. Thanks, Dr Irshad Husain
