Brief Answer:
Nearly/up to 1 year may be needed to restore normal erectile function

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic for your health concern,

Erectile dysfunction is a common problem after prostate surgery. It is due to the stretching of nerves during surgery. For most people nerves recover in 1 year and normal erectile function will be restored.
Continue Cialis to help with erection. If Cialis alone seems not be helping, other options like injecting medication directly into penis or use of the mechanical device like vacuum constriction device, or a vacuum pump can be tried.

Other possible contributors of Erectile dysfunction also need be corrected like diabetes, discontinuation of medications that can cause erectile dysfunction like antidepressants, beta blockers.

Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption if you do so. Anxiety, stress also need to be managed with relaxation techniques like meditation, exercise, yoga etc.Resolving any relationship issues with your partner is also important.
