Brief Answer:
Has he had prostrate surgery before?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this inability to ejaculate. Do you feel he ejaculated and the semen didn’t flow into the vagina or he never ejaculated at all? Also, has he had any surgery before related to his prostate? Finally, is this the first and only time he has ever witnessed this before? Please, provide responses to these questions as they would be very helpful in guiding us get through to the possible causes and what treatment options are available.

I hope to hear back from you and promise to respond as soon as possible with more insights and helpful recommendations. Until next, I wish you both well.

I know he didnt Ejaculate at all, it was upsetting for him. He tried 2 or 3 times, resting in between & staying erect, thanks to the Viagra (1st time to use) the last time he Ejaculated, was March of 2013. We tried a couple of times in that 3 yr period, but he couldnt keep an erection long enough to ejaculate, so no it isnt the first time he hasnt been ablt, but its the first time he hasnt beem able to WITH an erection. It has always (25 yrs) takem him a while to ejaculate, but he says he thought it was because he had conditioned himself to lengthen his Love Making. He hasnt ever had any Surgery of or around The Prostrate. He is, hiwever a 12-14 Beer a day drinker, & has been for the 25 plus yrs ive known him. If that helps. He of course doesnt think it has anything to do with it. I know there r many things that can cause this, & i know one if them is alcohol abuse, but would like to hear what ur opinion is, & what can b done from this point on, other than keep trying & talk to his Internist anout it. But i dont think he tells his Dr's how much Beer he drinks. I think its way too much!

Brief Answer:
See below!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Possible causes could include neurological damage with decreased sensation of the penile sensations(may occur with excess alcohol intake), medications especially those used to treat depression, psychological, etc. In others, no cause is ever established. Unfortunately, there is no medication for this condition. If alcohol could be established as the cause of his inability to ejaculate through nerve damage, then reducing this will clearly be very helpful to him. Please, the alcohol intake is excessive and really puts his health at great risk. He needs to be doing something about it.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Keep me posted on the progress of this.
