What Causes Erectile Dysfunction Post A Prostate Surgery?

Question: I had prostate surgery and it has been a month and I'm get sexually active again but even with viagra I seem to get semi hard for a few minutes and then back to soft. Am I trying to soon after surgery?

After prostatectomy, it takes at least 1 year to return to some semblance of pre treatment erectile function. Some patients may take a longer time from 2 to 3 years to regain pre treatment erectile function.

Take it slowly and continue using the Viagra to aid you in this regard.
