What Causes Erectile Dysfunction While On Urimax In An Elderly Person?
Question: Respected Doctor,
I am 70 male. I used URIMAX tabs for my PSA. Suddenly, I am facing ED after this treatment. Earlier I was advised to take FLOTRAL-D, but no side effects.
I request your valuable advise to get rid off my ED since I am very much embarrassed and failure in my life.
Please advise best XXXXXXX drugs without side effects to overcome this problem.

Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have been diagnosed to have enlarged prostate and have been prescribed (Tomsulosin) Urimax .
I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Do you get good hard erection ?
2) Do you ejaculate or not ?
3) What is your recent PSA level?
4) Are you prescribed Urimax plain or Urimax D
The Urimax that have been prescribed is alpha blocker which has selective action on smooth muscles in bladder neck and prostate .It causes bladder neck to remain wide open so that during ejaculation semen enters backwards in to bladder rather than entering forward into urethra what is called as retrograde ejaculation .
One gets feeling of orgasm but does not ejaculate semen outside .
Thee is nothing to be worried about It will get recovered completely once you stop taking Urimax.
