What Causes Esophageal Constriction, Lightheadedness And Chills While Eating?
Question: I ate food and felt my esophagus constrict making difficult to swallow and then developed chills and light-headed. I have been getting treated for an allergic reaction but now 3 days later while under treatment I finally started eating again and while I was eating, I developed the same constriction of my esophagus and once again developed chills. I laid down and it seemed to pass quickly. Is this normal for a food allergy or what are your thoughts?

I'm only taking Methyiprednisolone 4 mg tablets.
I have no pain swallowing, just difficulty swallowing.
I've experienced burning sensation in my throat in the past but not frequently.
I do have some stress but no more than normal.
Also, I feel weak because I'm not able to eat but I also have loss of appetite.
