Brief Answer:
First to rue out the cause before treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
I have gone through your query; and personally suggest you that before any treatment first rule out the cause of your symptom.

For your kind information, causes of excessive saliva production are gastroesophageal reflux disease, pancreatitis, liver disease, oral ulcers, and oral infections.

To assure you there are some medicines to reduce the excessive salivation but they may have some sideeffects. So better diagnose first and treat next.

The most common cause is gastroesophageal reflux disease in which reflux can trigger the production of large amounts of saliva from the salivary glands.
Therefore you may go for the
1. Oral examination to rule out any gastroesophageal reflux disease and oral diseases.
2. Liver function test to rule out the liver disease.
3. Serum amylase to rule out the salivary gland and pancreatic disease.

Thanks
