He is 4 days old and we gave him bath with little masage today no other medication other than the pain killer for mother. He was crying for milk till today morning and was demanding. But become lazy and not even crying after bath today. He passed urine and motion as well today. He is still very sleepy even now. Taken mother milk little bit 1 hour back with difficulty
Brief Answer:
The pain killer could cause sleepiness
Detailed Answer:
The pain killer which the mother is taking could cause sleepiness.
Ask your gynecologist about stopping or alternatives.
Keep waking him up and try feeding him as frequently as possible.
If still he is sleepy do consult your nearby pediatrician.
