What Causes Excessive Squeezing Of The Eyelids In A Child?

Question: My 15 month old has suddenly started shutting her eyes tight for one second for a few times in a day. Sometimes she does this while stretching her eyesbrows upward.
Her eyes appear otherwise normal. Can this be something to worry about I am taking her to an eye doctor, but wanted to understand if there oa something in particular I should be checking with the doctor.

What you have to look for before you report to the doctor if there is any watering or redness or discharge in the eye.
Rest of the parameters the doctor will check and hopefully there is nothig wrong with the child.As motor development occurs children do show such movement.

The picture you described doesn't fit into any neurological group that i can remember that's the reason avisit to pediatrician or neurologist will finally lay your fears to rest.
