What Causes Excessive Sweating While On Verapamil?
Question: I am 31 year old male. Healthy, exercise daily.
Recently prescribed verampil 80mg x 2 for migraine prevention.
Is this drug usually ok to take and continue to exercise? I have been told yes. I have noticed it makes me more sweaty that usual and more tired but otherwise nothing else.
just want to make sure it's normal for people to be able to take this medication and continue to exercise. Will it slow me down at all?

Brief Answer:
Following answer to your query.
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.
Verapamil is safe to take and to continue to exercise.
What you are experiencing especially excessive sweating are common side effects of Verapamil.
In order to avoid this side effects I would like to suggest taking half the dose. This will help to reduce the intensity of side effects (especially tiredness and sweating).
Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!
