Excessive sweating, possibilities need to check
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXX, Thanks for coming to HealthCareMagic.
First off, i must warn you that it's pretty common to sweat heavily, even in cooler weather. It all depends on what your internal body environment is like. If you have been exercising, or even if you are anxious and stressed, sweat can start up in cold weather and it is completely natural.
Now, that having been said, lets deal with the unnatural possibilities.
Excessive sweating that affects large areas, and that occurs while you're awake or even asleep is could be a side effect of a drug. Do you Take any regular medications?
It could be a sign of obesity. Can you tell me your height and weight?
Finally it could be due to a hormonal condition. The two most commonly associated hormonal problems associated are
1) Thyroid disease
2) Diabetes
3) Anemia
Do you suffer from either of these? If not, would you be OK with getting tested for them?
If you feel that testing is needed. Then you can go to the diagnostic center in the morning on an empty stomach and get the following blood work done.
1) CBC (Comprehensive Blood Count) - To check for Anemia
2) Thyroid function Profile
3) Fasting Blood Sugar, then have breakfast and go back to the lab in an hour and a half and get a post pradial (post meal) blood sugar checked. This is an effective screen for diabetes.
I hope this helps. Let me know what you would like to do next.

Blood sugar control is important
Detailed Answer:
Hello again. If you suffer from diabetes, poorly controlled sugars damage the tiny nerves that control your sweat gland, making them overactive. It can lead to permanent nerve damage over the years.
The most important thing you can do to control this and prevent injury in the future is control your sugars religiously. Make sure you check your Hba1c every 3 months and take your medications regularly. Use our dieticians for a diabetic diet chart if you like,
Hope this helps,
