Brief Answer:
Reducing venlafaxine will not help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Excessive sweating that you are having is likely to be due to menopausal symptoms. After five years of taking Venlafaxine it is not likely to aggravate sweating now.
A few lifestyle modifications can help you-
1.) Have bath daily.
2.) Avoid tight clothing and wear loose cotton fabric.
3.) Avoid stress, practice relaxation techniques like yoga and meditation.
4.) Eat healthy nutritious balanced diet which should include fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. Avoid coffee, alcoholic beverages, onions and garlic which have strong odors.
You can use a Anti perspirant after discussing it with your Doctor for example, products containing 10% to 20% aluminum chloride hexahydrate by applying to the affected areas.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
Botox can help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Botulinum toxin type A (Botox)- Injections of this anti-wrinkle drug turn off sweat glands of the underarms for months at a time. Botox is more than 90% effective as a hyperhidrosis medication. Oral anticholinergic drugs also stop the activation of the sweat glands, but they aren't for everyone because they can have side effects such as blurred vision, heart palpitations, and urinary problems.
You can discuss these options with your doctor and get these prescribed.
Hope my answer is helpful.
