What Causes Excessive Sweating?

Question: i am getting more sweat if I am not under fan or AC, when compared to others.... immediately it starts sweating when I am not with fan or AC, in course of time my entire shirt is filled with sweat..it is much embarrassing in front of other people..so please give me advice on this condition...

Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I am dr.kakkar (dermatologist).
I have gone through your query and I have noted your concern.

You may try tablet glycolate 1mg (contains glycopyrrolate), twice daily. The dose can be increased according to response. It is an efective drug for primary hyperhidrosis.
However I would first suggest a few investigations like thyroid function test to rule out thyroid as a secondary cause and I would also like to do an electrocardiogram to rule out any underlying heart disease.

Ok. Get an ECG done too. If your ECG is normal and there is no history of heart disease you may try this oral drug.
