What Causes Excruciating Pain From Elbow To Hand Post Injury?
Question: Three years ago I fainted and hit my elbow on the way down very hard. Since then, every time I hit my funny bone it sends an excruciating pain from my elbow to my hand. My elbow and hand including my fingers feel tingly and my vision turns black. I am close to fainting every time. I am wondering what this is and how to fix it.
Brief Answer:
Damaged or compressed ulnar nerve.

Hello and thanks for using HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.
It is damage or compression of ulnar nerve at the cubital tunnel.
First you need an ENMG ( nerve conduction study ) of your damaged arm ulnar nerve and after that you need to consult a Neurosurgeon and discussing about releasing the nerve by surgery.
It is a simple surgery usually with local anesthesia.
