Question: Extremely itchy red blistering rash on my butt spreading to the backs of my thighs. I will now notice a random lone blister on my hand or calf. Ideas?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.

The way you describe your problem and the photo you uploaded seems there is herpesvirus complicated with skin and blisters bacterial infection.

There is need to contact your primary care Doctor and discuss treatment possibilities.

These include antiviral drugs ( Aciclovir) and local or systemic antibiotics for probable bacterial infection of skin and blisters.

A sample could be taken for antibiotic sensitivity/resistance evaluation (antibiogram).

Herpes is a very contagious infection so beware of intimacy contacts.

Another thing you should discuss with your Doctor is the status of your immune system and tests needed to assess it.
