
What Causes Extreme Paranoia, Anxiety And Panic Attacks When Diagnosed With Mononucleosis?

Question: I was diagnosed with mononucleosis yesterday after showing symptoms for two weeks. most concerning I had mental symptoms last week including extreme paranoia ocd anxiety and panic attacks as well as feeling like I was in a fog and seperate from my self. the dr have me amoxicillin thinking I had strep could that have affected me? curious if my mental symptoms are normal for such a viral infection. also, will I recover fully as I feel mentally better today but just weak.
