What Causes Eye Pain Along With A Rash On The Leg?

Question: Hi, I'm 51 year old female, in pretty good shape but the last 3 days I have had sever eye pain. It is behind both eyes ans have also noticed a rash on my left leg on my calf muscle around 5" x 2" in length and another one on my right ankle around the same size. They also are very soar to touch. I thought it could be bruse's but never turned color. I seem to have swollen glands too. Can someone please give me an idea what is going on?

pain behind eye with associated rash in leg. It can it can be inflammatory bacterial or viral. Test the movement of eye and visual status. Rashes in leg can be independent. Consult dermatologist for examination a diagnosis. Since inflamed gland are also associated, it can be systemic inflammatory draining to glands. The source of infection is to be traced. In this case it might have also effected eye. the source of infection can be same. Systemic antibiotic like erythromycin can give relief to both. Refraction should be done and eye movements can be tested. The source of infection can be throat or lungs. can be detected after examination and necessary treatment advised. If it is bacterial infection then they should improve after the course of antibiotics fund's examination and field tracing is recommended, to-rule out optic neuritis.
