Brief Answer:
Colitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

I understand that you had a colonoscopy done which revealed colitis however you have no complaints or symptoms. However in order to help you better I need more information as colitis is a broad term which could be due to many causes

1. If you have normal bowel movements and no blood in feces why was the colonoscopy done? What was the indication?
2. Any family history of inflammatory bowel disease like ulcerative colitis or crohns disease?
3. Are you on any medication?
4. Any history of recent travel?

Please get back to me, I am awaiting your reply

No family history of the disease, I just had the tests cause I had
parasites and my doc wanted to see if there is any infection in colon
I am not taking any medications, there are no parasites anymore since 1 year
i get tested routinely

Hello

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for getting back, I am sorry for the short delay in my response, I was on call at my hospital

If you are asymptomatic, you are not losing blood in stools and you have normal bowel movements then you have two options
1. You could get a biopsy done from the site of inflammation of the colon to confirm the type of colitis
2. Ignore the issue as you are asymptomatic, it will be regarded as non specific colitis.

If I were to be your doctor I would have gone ahead with a biopsy for confirmation. I am glad infection has been ruled out

I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me

I wish you good health and a speedy recovery
