What Causes Fatigue And Nausea When Diagnosed With Klebsiella And Proteus In Stool?

default
Posted on Fri, 23 May 2014
Question: I have been diagnosed by a stool sample with klebsiella sp. and Proteus Vulgaris. I have been very ill for one year, starting with what I thought was a flu - but it lasted for months. Still get nauseated every morning. Have very little energy, with severe adrenal fatigue. Very seldom leave my home, get very shaky legs and over all body weakness. Could these symptoms be from these bacteria? And how do I naturally get rid of them?

Brief Answer:
Most likely adrenal crisis, needs endocinologist

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking!
I want you to know that klebsiella and proteus in stools are not even significant as it is their normal habitat and they are part of normal flora of intestine. So them turning out in stool culture is no worries and wonder, it is their place and they live there. The only time to worry is when the lead to urinary tract and case UTI and troubles.
So no way the issue of yours can be connected to these two innocuous normal gut flora residents.
Now loss of weight to almost extent of cachexia is worth considering and needs nutritional support by a dietitian to get your BMI from current 18.5 to healthy one of at least 22.
What i suspect of is addisonian crisis/ adrenal crisis as low weights, less energies, nauseating feelings in early mornings and fatigue and lethargy need a little assessment. It is too early but odds are more likely to be some hormonal imbalance.
You need an endocrinologist who will run some labs for hormonal assays and then take you from there and find the best way for your management.
You need an endocrinologist and please get one to help you with these possible adrenal crisis.
I hope it helps.Dont forget to close the discussion please.
Take care
