What Causes Fatigue, Dull Headache And Muscle Weakness While On Escitalopram And Amlodipine?
Question: I want to add more than one symptom. This is my first time using this site.
My meds are:
Escitalopram 10 mg
Lamotrigine ER 25 mg
Amlodipine Besylate 10 mg
Montelukast Sodium 10 mg
Symptons: fatigue, dull headache, lack of coordination, poor balance, poor motor skills, muscle weakness, especially in core. I fell a couple of time at home. This has been going on for about a month.

Secondly why lamotrignine?--do you suffer from epilepsy?

Yes, I had been taking Zoloft, but my doctor believes I have bi-polar depression which is why I was prescribed Limotrigine.
Yes, I was started on three new medications at the same time and this is when my fatigue, etc. began. I have since stopped taking two of the meds. I was originally prescribed Lisinopril 25 mg but was switched to Amlodipine Besylate 10 mg. I am also taking vitamin D for vitamin deficiency.

Either Lamotrignine or Escitalopram are causing these symptoms, since the problem started after beginning the medications.It is not due to amlodipine.
I think you should go back to your doctor and discuss this.
There are many drugs and sometimes a change can help--it may take 2-3 changes to get to the best drug combination for bi-polar depression. Do not hesitate to go to your doctor.
