What Causes Feeling Lump In Vagina Or Pelvis?
If feels like something hard, thin and moveable from my pelvis, then has a couple of moveable round lumps as you go down the muscle, then it feels normal like the other side. There is no pain, and I haven't had any other symptoms. My last pap smear was a year and 1/2 ago (I need to schedule to go again) and mammagram was 1 1/2 years ago, too. All normal. I had a rounded lump then, too, and my dr didn't seem worrried about it. However, the PT was very concerned as she does this type of pelvic muscle work and has never felt anything like it.

Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for sharing your concerns with us.
If I am not wrong, she felt a lump in your vagina / pelvis which is strange for her.
This is quite simple to sort out.
Best is to book an appointment with a Gynecologist & get yourself examined. They are the experts & mostly can tell you there clinical diagnosis. Your doctor will also advise you a pelvic ultrasound to confirm clinical diagnosis.
It could be a mass arising from your uterus or ovaries like fibroid, ovarian cysts or may just be a normal viscera at an abnormal location due to distorted anatomy ( post surgical).
It may just be a vaginal cyst, or a mass arising from other lower abdominal organs like bowel, bladder etc. Other possibility is a pelvic organ prolapse, leading to some form of hernia.
These are some possibilities. Please write back if you have any question.
Take care.
Yes, this is a rare possibility.

Hi XXXXXXX
Welcome back.
Yes, this swelling could be ovarian in origin. I have written earlier. Most ovarian masses are benign only a small percentage is malignant or cancerous.
If your doctor will have any clinical suspicion she will suggest you further tests to confirm it like CA-125.
Please don't get scared unless you see a doctor & your doctor feels so! Don't even think that way.
Wish you good health & take care.
