Brief Answer:
raise prozac / change it/ psychotherapy

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have read your query and I think that your feelings are like this due to depression.

It is commonly seen in clinical settings that the feeling of lonliness and emptyness increases during the episode of depression.
Even a person who is positive in life will think more neagtively when he or she develops a depressive or anxiety episode.

In such situations a normal or mildly critical comment of friends and family member appears more harsh and rude...the reaction to such behaviour is taken more neagtively by the patient .

Its not that the patient deliberately wants to feel bad or be unhappy or feel negative, but due to the chemical imbalance in brain the happiness is percieved" less".

I think you should either raise prozac Or change to another molecule
Or atleast enter in to psychotherapy to get a good outlook.

Feeling bad about oneself is very painful and I always encourage my patients to develop good self esteem for themselves.

Sometimes the circumstances of the life are really against the patient; here too it is helpful to be positive and remain happy...negative attitude ruins the patient only and noone else.

I hope the reply is useful for you.

Please see your doctor again in person for discussion. Also feel free to ask more queries from me for clariifcation.
