1. Its a heavy feeling like pressure in my thigh. Only in left thigh though.
2 . Pain is more or less there all the time - it isn't any worse when sitting or standing.
3. I can both sit on the floor and also squats.
I have had no MRI Scans or Xrays on my leg - Doctor seemed to think it was only muscular but I doesn't feel muscular to me.

Brief Answer:
It can be meralgia parasthetica
Detailed Answer:
Hello madam,
Your symptoms are matching with meralgia parasthetica. It is compression of nerve in groin.Patient typically complains of heaviness in front part of thigh. It can be due to tight inguinal ligament, tight belt or tight clothing. I would recommend you to see a orthopedic surgeon and confirm the diagnosis.
A MRI and EMG testing can confirm the diagnosis.
Treatment of this in early stage is usually loose cloths at waist, avoid very tight belt.
I advise Pregabalin and methyocobal to my patients.
There is role of steroid injection in groin in severe pain.
Some time surgical intervention needed.
I hope this answer will help you. Let me know if you want to ask any other questions. Thanks and take care.
