It feels as if I am getting weak. Like my blood (energy) seems to be going to my lower abdomen. Sometimes when this happens I feel like I might faint and I have to sit down. I am over weight by 50- 60 lbs. I take blood pressure meds.
Brief Answer:
2 possible causes
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your response.
After reading this additional information, I would like to consider 2 possible causes.
1. Anemia or low hemoglobin. You need to test the hemoglobin. If it's low iron vitamin b 12 and folate supplement can be used.
2. Postural hypotension.
In this 2nd , the blood pressure reduces when patient stands. On standing suddenly you will feel faint.
Most often this is due to electrolyte and fluid imbalance or drug induced like certain BP medicines.
Suggest watch your fluid and electrolyte balance and possibly change BP medicine.
