Brief Answer:
Seems to be viral fever.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having persistent fever.

Based on your clinical details, it appears to be viral fever (dengue) or infectious mononeuclosis.

I suggest you to to consult ent surgeon and get ent examination ( to differentiate para tonsillar abscess), total leucocytic count, platelet count and esr ( viral fevers). depending on the examination reports further treatment is required accordingly.

Mean time, continue tab. paracetamol 500mg (over the counter) thrice daily and salt water gargling.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
