Question: I tested positive to flu type B about 3 weeks ago. Right after that I took tamiflu 75 mg twice a day for 5 days. it has been about 10 days since I finished tamiflu. While I dont feel nearly as bad as I did when I got the flu, nor have a temperature, I still have pleanty of phlegm. I have also been taling antibiotics.
Brief Answer:
Take cough expectorants
Detailed Answer:
hi,
you seem to have got bronchitis may be viral with bacteria later because of tamiflu. it suppress immunity to an extent.
Now that you have more phlegm i suggest you take cough expectorants as syrup. they contain ambroxol with terbutaline or salbutamol. Your pharmacist can suggest any over the counter preps. if not you need prescription.
