Question: My mother has lupus and leukemia cmml and gets a fever every morning and terrible sweats every day she is no longer on chemotherapy

Dear Madam,

Thank you for posting your query on HCM.

Well madam, it can either be because of Lupus or due to relapse of CMML . Night sweats are very common in blood malignancies . So I would recommend atleast getting a CBC with differential done and also get a peripheral smear done to look for abnormal cells .Also ESR and CRP , urine routine , RFT , LFT to look for disease activity of lupus. Unless we have some tests in hand it will be very difficult to comment on whats happening..
