Brief Answer:
Meftal is a better alternative

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on healthcaremagic. Your child probably is suffering from a viral infection which is often associated with high rise of temperature. Meftal 100 Dispersible tablet (mefenenamic acid) can be given as it is more effective in reducing temperature. It will also help in reducing headache. Alternatively, you can give naprosyn (naproxen) 650 mg half a tablet as per requirement to reduce headache. Although viral infections may take 5-10 days to spontaneously recover, I would insist getting the child checked by a pediatrician to rule out other probable causes.
