What Causes Fever, Cold And Productive Cough With Green Mucus?

I am having fever with cold.
It started with slight discomfort in throat. I did gargles. The throat improved, but i caught cold. I got a medical test a few days back, before I fell ill. It shows high ESR : 24
I am having green cough while sneezing. A bit of coughing. Light 100 fever.
What should I do?
Will Amoxyllin work for me?
Attaching medical reports. Tests were just a regular checkup a week back
Upper Respiratory Tract Infection ( URTI ).
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. This seems to be an Upper Respiratory Tract Infection ( URTI ).
2. This is usually a viral with secondary bacterial infection. The green phlegm signifies that your immune system is fighting an infection.
3. I would recommend that you repeat a set of routine blood tests if this does not settle down in a couple of days.
4. Since your earlier blood tests are within normal limits, there should be quick recovery with supportive medication.
5. The high ESR suggests active inflammation in the body. One high reading is not considered , but multiple ESR readings are used to monitor treatment progress. The sightly raised liver enzyme suggests some inflammation there.
6. Hence get examined and let a local physician prescribe medication keeping this in mind.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.
Regards.
