- Sir, as per your symptoms I suspect that symptoms is suggesting of Dengue. But its a very crude diagnosis it requires a other signs, symptoms and laboratory reports to make a firm diagnosis of dengue.
- I suggest you to consult a Doctor.
-I think before you go to Doctor at least do your Complete Blood Count, malaria and Dengue NS1 antigen test cum Ig M test, which I think is the best investigation. It will give you a little idea about the cause of fever and platelets count in case of dengue. Apart from it NS1 is the earliest diagnosis to come positive in case of dengue.
-Till the dengue investigation will come, I suggest you to continue with the Paracetamol and also maintain the hydration therapy.
-By considering the dengue I suggest you to take rest, because working will cause platelets to decrease. For hydration to maintain I suggest you to start with ORS. There is no treatment of dengue apart from fluid therapy so continue with the ORS.
