What Causes Fever Followed By Blisters On Face And Throat Pain?

Question: Hi,

I was having fever from past friday and feeling good now. Though i got few blisters randomly on my face, hands and legs and its itching. I have throat pain and head pain. I do not have running nose or cough.

1. With these symptoms, it is important to get a thorough examination of the rash and throat done.

2. A throat swab must be sent for bacterial culture and antibiotic sensitivity. A full blood count should be done.

3. Many infections such as Strep Throat, Measles, Rubella, Scarlet Fever, other exanthematous fevers, drug-induced reactions should be ruled out. Specific tests may be ordered by your physician.
