Question: 5 days ago I ran a slight fever 100.2 and became nauseous. I continue to feel somewhat fatigued, minor headache and nauseous. I have very little appetite. I vomited once on day 1 and have never had diarrhea. Have dry mouth.
Is this just common gastroenteritis? How long does it usually last?

can last up to 10 days in some cases

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Based on the symptoms mentioned, it does sound like gastroenteritis which is most commonly viral.

In most persons the symptoms last less than 10 days, usually up to a week.
There should be slight and continued improvement in your symptoms.

There are medications that can be used along with the XXXXXXX selzer to help relieve your symptoms eg peptobismol or dramamine.

Rest is very important as well

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
