What Causes Fever While On Testosterone Injections?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: I am taking testosterone injections under a doctors guidance. I have been on the therapy for 10+ weeks. A little over a week ago I got my second vial of testoerone and did my normal injection. Within 48 or so hours I started running a fever, but only at night. The fever is in the 99.8-101 range and responds to OTC meds. I have no other symptoms beyond the fever. I have read extensively online about testosterone fever or flu. Some say you just have to work through it and the symptoms will subside. What are your thoughts? Thank you.
Brief Answer:
Testosterone
Detailed Answer:
I am not aware of any published reports in credible medical literature that describes any such phenomenon with testosterone injections.
Unless of course there is an infection at the site.
