What Causes Fever With Negative Tests For Dengue?

Can be Infection
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for posting in health care magic
Fever and high polymorph count are both indicator of infection. Dengue is excluded as there is ns1 negative report.
The infection can be viral or bacterial and can involve the respiratory system or gastrointestinal system. If the baby is having running nose, blocked nose, cough, sneezes and irritable taking little feed - high chance that he is suffering from influenza ( a viral infection ) common in this season. the medication you are giving is enough.
If there is diarrhea or repeated vomiting there may be tummy infection for which also the medications given are enough.
Thus I too think this is a infection which will respond to the medications within 3 days.
thank you.
