The waves like hear waves that you see are typically white blood cells. It is a normal phenomenon and you have nothing to worry about. I have many patients who have come with similar complaints, after going through articles and literature I have found similar incidences where it was diagnosed to be white blood cells.
I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me

Even if I look at something sometimes it looks like it's moving, or sometimes it looks like visual snow. Is there any relief from it?

There is no treatment for it simply because you can't stop blood flowing into your eye however the following tips can help you.
1. Keep your eyes moist by putting drops of aqueous eye drops once in 8 hours
2. Avoid sunlight , always wear shades in the sun
3. avoid watching tv or pc screen for more than 30 min at a stretch, this tends to dry out your eyes
4. Avoid exposure to dust, pollution and smoke
