Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for the follow up and clarifications.
*is it itchy?
*any fluid oozing?
*has she had chicken pox earlier?
*has she been in a swimming pool or near plants?
I would like to primarily rule out chicken pox and contact dermatitis.
I recommend :
-wash the areas thoroughly with mild soap and water. Do not scrub. XXXXXXX dry
-avoid touching these vesicles unnecessarily.
If it ruptures, use clean cotton cloth or gauze to clean and leave it open to air dry.
-observe for any new vesicles or symptoms like pus formation, local warmth or reddened skin around vesicles.
If any new symptoms develop or thus persists beyond 3 to 4 days without improvement, take her to her pediatrician or a dermatologist..
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Wish you both good health
Regards,
Dr. Shuba Hariprasad
