What Causes Fluttering Sensation On Left Carotid Artery?
LeftCarotid arterial doppler is mandate in your case.
Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam.
I understand your concern.
Fluttering sensation on the left carotid should be thoroughly evaluated to rule out carotid artery disease-carotid artery stenosis particularly under your current medical history of thyroid and deep venous thrombosis disorder.
MVP has no direct relationship to your current symptoms.
All you need now is a Carotid arterial Doppler scan of the left side along with 2 dimensional screening echocardiogram of the heart to evaluate the functional reserve of the heart and to possibly rule out intra cardiac thrombus formation.
Complete blood coagulation study is also needed.
Its better if you get these recommended tests at the earliest.
Thank you.
