Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for query.I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query.
Folliculitis might be more common for the given history. The area is sensitive and friction prone.
So use some topical antibiotic cream like fucidin or mupirocin if available over the counter drug.
Do not cause any friction or rubbing or scratching the area may further leed to deeper infection.
You can take oral antibiotics like roxithromycin or cephalexin also antiinflammatory analgesics like brufen or diclofenac .These are needed to avoid infection becoming deeper. However these come with prescription with local doctor.
Wear loose inner wears not to cause pain or friction.
You can get back if any clarification needed.
Thank you
