Question : Dear doc , I ahve difficulty in remembering names or recalling them . The same with dates and also directions . Pls help .

I have this problem for a long time now . I dont have any axiety or depression at all . My work is very relaxing . But went i go to my customers there are times when i even forget my colleges or even the name of the company . Most times I find it hard to narrate a story with names . I have no medical history other than some allergy to dust . And I have no addictions .

These symptoms are most likely of no significance. In routine life,many persons may have occasional difficulty in remembering names. This is most of the times physiological and not indicative of a disease. Sometimes it is fear, anxiety and under confidence that mimics 'forgetfulness'.
However,to alleviate your fear,I suggest you to get examined by a neurologist for detailed higher mental functions evaluation.
