Hi,
Thanks for writing your query. Foul smell can be due to poor oral hygiene or due to infection in the throat. An ENT examination and oral health check up can be helpful in planning further medical management.
I hope this is helpful to you.

Brief Answer:
Some investigations are needed.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for providing more information. As you have mentioned about your cough followed by vomiting, I would suggest that you should get your blood tested for Complete Blood Count ( CBC ) and Absolute Eosinophil Count. A Chest X - Ray PA view will be helpful along with the other investigations. An antihistamine like Fexofenadine 120 mg once a day can give relief from cough. Gargle with warm saline water will have added benefits.
You should consult your local area doctor for further clinical evaluation.
I hope this answers your query.
Regards. Thanks.
