What Causes Foul Odor In Urine?
Question: Hey so I'm been having this problem when I pee. So when I pee, my pee has this yeasty/ fishy smell to it. And it's never been like that before. I've had a yeast infection before and a Uti but I'm not really getting any symptoms like how I used to when I had those before. The only symptoms I've been having is just the smell when I pee and just having the feeling of peeing a lot? Is there anything I can take to make it go back to normal?
Brief Answer:
The smell and frequency may be due to infection or protein in urine
Detailed Answer:
Hi, welcome to HealthcareMagic,
The smell and frequency may be due to infection or protein in urine. Both can make the urine smell bad. Sometimes what we eat also reflects in urine color and smell. Check whether you have eaten anything recently that was unusual and especially high protein.
Please get a routine urine examination done to rule out any infection or deposits. Medicines must be taken after getting the reports of urine examination.
Meanwhile drink lemon barley water and Cranberry juice to clear your urine, and hopefully drive away the smell.
