What Causes Foul Smell In Urine?
Question: I have foul smelling urine, but no infection, I work in a doctor's ofc and dip stick is normal, no dysuria or frequency, just the foul odor, esp in the morning for a few weeks. I drink plenty of water, take a cranberry supp, I wonder if the supp is causing it? My meds are armour thyroid for Hashimoto's and very low dose prednisone (2.5mg or less) for polymyalgia rheumatica. I take other anti-inflammatory supps like licorice root and MSM and fish oil, which reduce my need for higher doses of prednisone. I am very sexually active as I am engaged to be married, in fact tomorrow is my wedding. I have no vaginal discharge or discomfort, and am otherwise very healthy. The only liquids I drink are tea in the morning, water the rest of the day, only occasional alcohol. I am a 61 yo female.
