What Causes Frequent Bacterial Infections?
Question: I am constantly getting viral or bacterial infections that take too long to recover from. During January I have been ill three out of four weeks with bronchitis and stomach virus. I was sick one-fourth of the time in 2014. My current doctor (D.O.) just tells me I have X and gives me what cures most people in a few days. Mine drags on. I think there must be something wrong with my immune system or I wouldn't catch everything. I haven't always been like this. I am 78 years old. What sort of doctor should I see? Thanks.
