Frequent blinking of the eyes means that your eye is not producing enough liquids/tears, so the film of liquid that usually stays in the eye for 8 seconds, in your case stays less and that makes you feel the reflex of blinking more frequently. This may happen during an infection or when you work for long times stretching your eyes and they get tired.
Do you have any other symptoms except the frequent blinking? Red eye, discharge, itchiness?
If not then you would just need to use some artificial tears drops in your eyes and try to rest for some days.
