What Causes Frequent Bouts Of Pain In The Lower Abdomen, Fever And Chills?

default
Posted on Thu, 31 Aug 2017
Question: I have had several bouts of severe sharp pain in the lower center of my abdomen accompanied by fever/chills which lasted for two or three days. I was negative for bladder infection and I had a hysterectomy 30 years ago. My bowels are working perfectly. The ER recommended I have an MRI but when I went to the clinic where it is located they did not have orders for me and sent me away. It seems to be reoccurring today and it starts with a feeling of pressure which becomes more and more painful. My primary care doctor quit and I have not been able to find another one yet.
